Andrew has worked in education for 25 years.
He has taught in primary schools in inner-city Nottingham and across Herefordshire, becoming the Headteacher of a small rural school, Pembridge Church of England Primary School in 2003. After 6 successful years as Headteacher at Pembridge, Andrew moved to become the Headteacher of a larger urban school, St Paul's Church of England Primary School, in Hereford.
Andrew became a SIAMs inspector in 2011 and has conducted church school inspections in the Hereford and Worcester Dioceses. .
Andrew has been a governor of a federation of a secondary and two primaries and an all through independent school in Hereford.
In 2014 St Paul's achieved an outstanding inspection from Ofsted and became a National Support School and Andrew became a National Leader of Education in 2015.
Andrew was the Executive Headteacher for St Thomas Cantilupe CE Primary School from 2012 until 2014, helping the school move from 'Special Measures' to a 'Good' overall judgement in 11 months.
In May 2018, Andrew was installed as a Lay Canon at Hereford Cathedral in recognition of his service to education in Hereford.
In 2019, St Paul's was awarded an overall judgement of 'excellent' under the new SIAMS inspection framework.
Since September 2018, Andrew has been the Director of Education for the Hereford Diocese. He remained as Executive Headteacher at St Paul's until Easter 2019.
In January 2019 he became Chief Executive Officer for the Diocesan Trust, overseeing a transformation to its new identity, culture and ethos, as the Diocese of Hereford Multi-Academy Trust.

Sam joined the Trust after working as a School Business Manager at a Shropshire secondary school for 12 years. Previous to this, Sam worked in both central and local government as an external and internal auditor.
Sam has recently completed the CIPD qualification and is now an Associate member. In addition, she sits on the NAHT, School Business Leaders national council, which works to support the SBL/SBM profession, both in LA and academy settings. An accredited Safer Recruitment trainer with the Lucy Faithful Foundation, she is able to deliver training across both the Trust and Diocese as a whole.

Georgia has worked in education since 2007, and before taking up this role was Finance Officer at a Voluntary Controlled Secondary School, providing ongoing support to the School Business Manager. She began studying for her Diploma with the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2011 and completed it in early 2013. She then went on to win the AAT national CPD Prize in 2014 and has recently completed the Diploma of School Business Management.
Georgia began working for the Education Team of the Diocese of Hereford in June 2014 and joined the Diocese of Hereford Multi-Academy Trust as Finance Officer full time from January 2015. Now Finance Lead for DHMAT, Georgia provides ongoing financial support to the academies after conversion and is responsible for payroll and Local Government Pension Scheme administration throughout the Trust. Georgia is now studying for her CIMA professional qualification.

Karen had a background working in various roles within the Shropshire Local Authority until taking up the position as Education Coordinator within the Diocesan Education Team. This role enabled Karen to enhance her skills to understand and along with the Education team support the Diocesan Church Schools. Karen has recently completed the ISBL School Business Professional Level 4 qualification.

Phil joined the DHMAT Central Team in May 2019, following nearly 16 years as a Secondary Headteacher, and nearly two years as an Executive Headteacher. Phil also worked for Dudley and Shropshire Local Education Authorities as a school Improvement Partner, was a Secondary Representative on Shropshire Schools’ Forum, and was Chair of Shropshire Secondary Headteachers’ Association for four years.
